Russell, Dean and I took the girls to the fair at Midway Plaza tonight it was cold but girls had a good time.

Easter Egg Hunt at Kiesel Park

Russell and I took the girls to Kiesel Park today for an Easter egg hunt.  The day was beautiful this year. Here are some of the pictures.

We miss Mason this week

I have really missed keeping Mason this week.  But, I know he is getting some loving from his other grandmother this week I know she misses him when she is not here.  The one thing I love doing in my life is keeping my grandchildren. That is one thing that is no way an inconvenience  for me it is pure joy. Thanks to my children for letting us be so much a part of our grandchildren lives.  Kate and Campbell really missed him too they like him being with me when I pick them up from school.

Mason Playing

Start keeping Mason last week and I am totally loving it.  He is such a good baby.  It is so amazing to watching him trying to get things with his hands.  He is growing so much.   

Travis "Locks for Love"

I am so proud of my son Travis for a year now he has been growing his hair for Kate for "Locks for Love". This time last year Kate had no hair and he promise her he would grow his hair for her. Today she help cut his hair.  She was so proud of her bubba. 

Keeping Mason

I got to keep Mason Thursday he is such a good baby.  He is beginning to smile at you now and make those little cooing sounds.  He loves looking outside. Elizabeth has become such a good mom. I can see a lot of Elizabeth in him across the eyes and Travis across the mouth. Love you little man.

Weekend in Knoxville

Took the two girls to Knoxville, Tennessee for Kate's gymnasts meet at Knoxville on Monday. Dean and I got an early start so we could have a few days vacation with the girls before her meet on Monday. Got to go to the Smoky Mountains National Park on Saturday; on top of the mountain there was a lot of snow.   You can see the girls having fun in the snow, we also got to go to a couple of attractions in the area on Sunday.  Gayle and her mom came up on Sunday and the girls wanted to go back and show her where they had been.  Didn't have time to go back up on the mountain so they couldn't see the snow.  On Monday Kate had her meet she did good. During the meet it started to snow.  It snowed on us all the way to North Georgia that was an experience. Gayle I would like to thank you for letting us take the girls up early. I think they had a good time I know we did. Wished you could have got to see the snow on the mountain with them.

Missed little Mason this weekend. Be glad when he can do some things with us. It sure would be fun to have all three of them on a trip.

Mason 4 weeks Old Today

Wow, this month sure has gone by. I can't believe Mason is already 4 weeks old. He is growing so much. Mason I want you know that you will always be loved. I know Kate and Campbell came before you but that doesn't mean you have any less of my love. That is the way God gave all of you to me. I pray that in this year you will have another cousin that will join the family, believe me the more cousins the better. I went on your blog and got a picture of you with the Alabama outfit on (love it)(thanks mom).

AU vs UA Gymnastic's Meet

Went with Kate, Campbell and Russell to the AU gymnastic meet Kate loved it she got to see her big sister on the bars (she is good) I know she really wants to be there in the future she loves it so much. That was the first time I got to go to a college meet those girls are really good. I can see Kate doing that just as well. With the love and passion she has for it she can do it. Kate don't give up know that you have all you need to go as far as you want and that all of your family will be there for you to help you in your journey and cheer you on.

My three Grandchildren

I was on Gayle's facebook pictures and found a picture of my 3 grandchild together in one picture you don't know how that made me feel just to see them together. Thanks you Gayle.

Visit with Mason

Dean and I just left Travis's visiting. Mason is changing everyday. Joan (Elizabeth's mom) had another good meal cooked. We always enjoy visiting with them. I know Elizabeth is going to miss her when she leaves. Got to feed Mason a bottle I sure enjoyed just to be able to hold him. You should have seen them trying to give one little baby a bath. They will get it right yet. I think they are still a little sure what to do. Trying to make it to complicated. I can remember being that way when my first was born we just didn't have so many gadgets. Will that is enough for tonight.

Mason

Mason is my third grandchild and how amazing is he.  I can't believe my baby just had a baby. And how special is it that he had a little boy.  Kate is the first grandchild and the first girl and Mason is the first boy wow how special is that. He looks so much like his dad when he was born and then you look again and you see so much of his mom. He is such a special little boy for us he is our third and believe me just as loved as the first two. I can't wait until I can get all three of them together and they can play, he is so lucky to have two cousin who will love him and play with him. Every time I see him he is changing. I love that little boy so much.

Campbell

Campbell is my second grandchild and a very special one.  She was born with so much turmoil in her parents life and is a blessing to both of them and to all of us.  She is a unique child that has a special personality that everyone loves. I think she brings everyone together in a special way that only Campbell can do.  I love her so much and she holds a very special place in my heart that is only hers.  She loves being a big girl and a tomboy all in one.  She loves the dolls, shoes, along with the camouflage, and tools.  Campbell just know that you are loved and no matter where your life takes you we will all be there for you.
